01 / CONTEXT & INTENT

Planning without losing
the desire to go.

How can the excitement of discovering a place meet the clarity needed to organize a trip?

Rota starts from the hypothesis that inspiration and organization can coexist without making travel feel like a task. The concept connects three moments: discovering, saving, and building an itinerary that still leaves room for chance.

01

Inspiration with direction

Imagery, duration, and character help compare destinations.

02

Organization without rigidity

Days and pauses provide structure without filling every moment.

03

Essentials within reach

Bottom navigation keeps the three moments within reach.

02 / EXPERIENCE ARCHITECTURE

A clear path.
Keeping the wonder.

03 / INTERFACE IN CONTEXT

Made to step
outside the routine.

01 / MOBILE SCREEN

Discover with curiosity

Photography, voice, and trip length present each destination as a concrete possibility.

02 / MOBILE SCREEN

A collection of next yeses

Saving separates inspiration from the decision. Travelers can gather ideas before shaping an itinerary.

03 / MOBILE SCREEN

One day at a time

Day tabs, times, and pauses turn a trip into an easy-to-reference sequence.

04 / VISUAL SYSTEM

Color to move.
Space to breathe.

06 / WHAT COMES NEXT

Design also includes
what we have yet to learn.

This study presents a product direction and a working prototype. Interviews, user testing, and outcome measurement were not conducted for this concept project.

Next questions for validation

  • Does the collection help compare possibilities?
  • Is a day-based itinerary easy to use on the move?
  • What information is missing before deciding on a trip?
